Lisa Ray is a Canadian actress and former fashion model who has worked in Hollywood and Bollywood films. Lisa Ray was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma on June 23, 2009, a cancer of the white blood cells known as plasma cells, which produce antibodies. It is a rare and incurable disease. Lisa Ray has acted in Hindi films such as 'Kasoor' and 'Water'. Her latest English film is 'Cooking with Stella' in which she co-stars with Shriya Saran and Seema Biswas. She was seen at the premiere of this movie at TIFF after she was diagnosed with cancer.











Lisa Ray first came into the limelight when she appeared in an advertisement for Bombay Dyeing wearing a high-cut black swimsuit opposite Karan Kapoor.
