Saif Ali Khan would be
Priyanka Chopra’s co-star in almost all her films next year.
After completing the shooting of
Don 2 with
Shah Rukh Khan, Priyanka is expected to go into Vishal Bhardwaj’s next and
Siddharth Anand’s next, both with Saif as her co-star.
Vishal is all set to complete a hat-trick of films with
Priyanka. After Kaminey and Saat Khoon Maaf, Vishal has already offered Priyanka another film. Their third collaboration in on the cards as well.
According to a source, the offer came in Coorg after
Priyanka did an intricate seven-minute shot perfectly. When she returned and sat next to Vishal he simply said, “You are doing my next film.”
Saif who has been itching to work with Vishal ever since Omkara will co-star in the film with Priyanka.
Another director who has worked with Saif is
Siddharth Anand. Priyanka is expected to join Anand and Saif in his next feature.
Meanwhile, Abbas-Mustan offered her
Race 2 and Italian Job. While Priyanka has declined Italian Job (Katrina’s part is more pivotal) she has green-lighted Race 2, where she co-stars, again, with Saif.
When asked about her ‘year of playing it
Saif’,
Priyanka said, “I loved his work in Vishal sir’s Omkara, also in Dil Chahta Hai. We’ve not worked together in any film as yet. Saif is a really cool guy.”
