Aishwarya Abhishek signed up for Rs 25 crore for soap ad

If any further proof was needed that Aishwarya Rai - Abhishek Bachchan are the hottest couple in Bollywood, then look no further than this. Aishwarya Rai and Abhishek Bachchan have been apparently signed up for an amazing Rs 25 crore to feature in a soap ad.



The deal was under finalisation for the past few days, but had been kept secret.

The company and its advertising agency were very keen to have both Aishwarya Rai and Abhishek together in the soap ad and they had been negotiating with them for some time now.

In India, brand endorsements by celebrities, especially Bollywood stars ensures the necessary brand visibility for the product.

Since Aishwarya Rai and Abhishek have done a few films together which were hits and have Mani Ratnam's next movie 'Raavan' lining up for release in a short time, the ad filmmakers very quite keen to sign them up.

This is the first time that Aishwarya Rai will be seen in a commercial with husband Abhishek.

The soap commercial will be filmed abroad.
